More than 500 Antioch College alumni, representing 70 class years, resolved at their Annual Reunion on June 24-27, 2007 that Antioch College is worth fighting for, and that they were committed to the uninterrupted continuation of Antioch College as an institution of higher education with a tenured faculty.

Yellow Springs, OH, October 25, 2008-Today, the Antioch College Alumni Board unanimously resolved to raise $255,000 by April 1, 2009 to fund the Nonstop Liberal Arts Institute for the full academic year.

GLCA Update on Progress of Task Force Move Toward an Independent Antioch College

On Monday, October 13, 2008, the Task Force charged with developing a plan for an independent Antioch College met in New York City with Antioch University Board of Trustees Chair, Art Zucker,’55 and  Chancellor Toni Murdock. The purpose of this meeting was to brief the Chair and Chancellor on the work of the Task Force over the past three months, and to elicit their thinking on the strategies being considered by the Task Force.

Campus Facilities Update from Nancy Crow, President, Alumni Board of Directors

UPDATE: I have attempted repeatedly to contact Tom Faecke, the University’s CFO. I am strongly urging him in my role as a Trustee that he agree to the reasonable and entirely sensible plan of alumni representatives walking through the campus and taking an inventory of what currently exists on the Antioch College campus. I will remind him that we can easily remove caches of books and papers that we deem valuable, making sure that there is no fire hazard, while still securing our history and legacy.
